NGD - Fly Like an Eagle.

Since I have been doing the Aero trib gig and loving the hell out of it I thought I'd get something that fit the old school Aerosmith vibe. Buying a legit BCR Eagle was a bit cost prohibitive and I certainly wouldn't travel with anything quite so precious. I looked for a Neil Giraldo model but they're pretty scarce and most of the other modern ones are just kind of weird or cheap looking to me, I did some poking around the eBays and the JDM sellers on there and came up with this natural wonder.

1980 Aria Pro II EG-, probably a 1400 but it is decked out closer to their 1600 line. Can't find these in any catalogs that I was able to hunt down so I am not sure, either was the seller.

Regardless it appears to be all original including the case, it has minimal wear, hardly seems like it was played it is so clean.

USA DiMarzio Dual Sounds, USA Grover 150C Imperial tuners, Pre-amp with variable boost (9v), coil splits, phase switch and a 6 way varitone. They weren't screwing around lol, totally nailed the BCR wiring! It's a pancaked body with q set neck but done to look like a neck thru, it is done really well. It plays, feels and sounds incredible and I am thrilled.

Damn, that thing is HAWT!

At first look I thought you were going for the early Slash BCR purchase.... but damn, I think this thing is sweeeeet

That is a beautiful guitar. You need a reverse Strat now if you really want to get your Perry on.

I play the Whitford part or I would most definitely would. I have a reverse headstock Strat that gets me close enough to the vibe, I have to get an old Bill Lawrence single for the bridge position before it's official lol

Oh boy, that's a good one. Dbl creams complete it.

Aria Pro II stuff is also – generally – still reasonably priced in the context of old Japanese stuff.

Almost got an Aria Pro II Les Paul instead of Gibson back in the day.

The higher end models do seem well appointed. For under 1k it seems like a no brainer.

I'm more of a (super)strat guy and those are often less $ than an Ibanez from the same era with similar specs.

I see a lot of Les Paul's Scott. I think you need a few more 59's!
