NGD: Gibson ES-139

This thing is awesome. Basically a Les Paul-shaped 335 without F-holes.


Currently tuned to C and cranking out fuzzy desert riffs. Les Paul Custom for scale:

Its more like a stripped down Howard Roberts Fusion model, but I digress. Great guitar. I played a black one early in the year that was the real deal.

Does she sound how she looks, like a cross between a LP and a 335?

Thanks for the kind words.

Tonally its a lot more ES than it is Les Paul but that's good for me because I have two Les Pauls and an SG. This now widens my pallette.

I don't know if I should keep it stock, switch to Antiquities, or go crazy and do P-Rails with triple shots...
