Went in to my local guitar center the other day and I had to walk out with this!

Beautiful plain looking top, 57a3 pickups, and every knob is a push/push for all sorts of wiring options. I'm extremely happy with it coming with locking tuners and being full gloss (unlike the other traditional pro models).

Congrats, I just saw these over the weekend at GC and tried looking them up. Apparently they just came out and as of yesterday aren't even on the website yet. I love my Pro II. I'm glad they finally went full gloss on these.

Yeah, they don't have any information on anyone's website about them yet. My checklist is dated August 3rd of this year! Kinda cool the guitar was made just this month.

The battery box is for a boost circuit. Pushing the neck tone activates a 15db boost. Really cool for a little more power!

Thanks everyone! The top was a big plus in the decision making process. It is called a honeyburst but it'd got a unique rim to it that's pretty dark on the outside.

Funny story,

I noticed the model number on the warranty card seemed off.

Turns out, gibson messed up, and this is a weird mix between a traditional pro iii and iv.

Long story short, I get a nice discount if I keep it, or I can get a brand new trad iv (for real this time) as a fair swap for this one.

At least you've got the option of checking a few out.

But maybe you did play a few & walked outta there w/ it for a reason!!!
& ca$h back from GC is always a Win!!!
