That looks fantastic. I'm not normally a fan of quilted maple, but I really like that piece - it almost looks like a cross between quilt and flame to me. Love the colour, too :D

I'd switch out that chrome hardware for nickel but otherwise it sure works for me. That also strikes me as ribbony flame with a hint of quilt breaking up the lines here and there.

I hate Gibson's decision to go back to chrome on the Traditional. The Std. can have chrome, but the Traditional should have traditional nickel.

Nice looking guitar otherwise.

I was actually also thinking nickel would look great :) The chrome still looks schmick, though

Looks awesome! Just bought one myself Saturday, but desert burst. You gonna leave the pick guard on? I'm thinking of taking mine off.

Yeah the pickguard came off about five minutes after I took the pix cuz I was just sitting there staring at the guitar, haha.

Dude in my band has the same model and color, but his is more of a flame than a quilt. It's easily the best Paul I've played in a decade. Quite light. How much does yours weigh?

It's gorgeous btw. I love that color.
