also I wonder if there are any famous users ? it is a great guitar and looks like a high end PRS!

No idea,but it's a beauty!!!

FWIW,it "may" be a newer/ish model,I don't recall seeing the 3 knob layout on the older ones.

Anywho,it's sharp!!!

edit:
Check the p/ups when you re-string!!!

edit II:

If you like that axe, before you commit your money to that one, try an old one from late 70's early 80's. ;)

yeah I hear alot of people recommending them on TGP. I never see them around here or online and I scour online classifieds for guitar stuff almost everyday.

I feel like I would not like the vintage models though only because of the amount of switches and knobs they have. I like a simple guitar, I barely use the neck or middle position ever either or the tone controls.

Re: NGD Ibanez Artist

mine had a normal les paul set up. No extra switches.
Amazingly sustainful and resonant wood tho. Solid chunky hardware too.

Wow I did not know they made ones like that, I'll check ebay !

Whatever bridge pickup was put in this model is amazing though I think for 350 i'll just nab it while I can. Don't see many Artist models around where I am. I know they remade the classic Artist design with the tri sound switches for around 600 in Canada but even those I have not spotted anywhere.

Kinda over my budget but this looks good!

Re: NGD Ibanez Artist

yeh man. i didn't know you could get those for 350 so i guess its a great deal. The old ones are pretty fkn sexy axes tho. That one in the ad would be amazing. I had one just like taht but in candy apple. i was really stupid to trade it for a telecaster back when i was mainly playing strat and wanted another single coil axe so i did not have to change my amp settings for gigs. The ibanez sustained forever.

I have an MIK Artist from the late 90's that I picked up recently. I love the guitar, hope you dig yours as much.

Pretty guitar, not sure of the model

Wow, that looks sweet! I love me them Artists.

You can tell the year of manufacture by reading the first two numeric digits in the serial number. (i.e.: S13______ is made in China, 2013.) From the look of the tailpiece I'd say that is a current model. If it's in good shape, $350 is a steal for that guitar. A vintage MIJ version of that guitar would fetch about twice or 3X that price, FWIW.

Enjoy!

Re: NGD Ibanez Artist

Nothing wrong with the model just left a word out of the sentence, enjoy

thanks wattage, feel free to post a pic of yours on here whenever you get the chance I would love to see it.

Something about the shape of the Artist models just strikes me as awesome!

Re: NGD Ibanez Artist

Here is my AV100 1980 Artist. I've had it since 1984 and it's been my #1 guitar for years. I retired it from gigging and don't play it as much as I used to. It gives any LP a challenge.
