Well boys, here she is! The guitar that I was having built in THIS thread is now done!
She is a custom-specked by me, Telemaster Esquire by Rob at Rhomco guitars out of Texas. Rob approached me when I put my SG Junior up for trade and asked how I would feel about having a guitar made just the way I wanted it. Well, this is it. I am a Tele guy through and through, but have learned I love the Jazzmaster body more than the Tele shape in looks and feel to me. I know the Telemaster has been done by everyone and their brother, but this one is exactly what I wanted.
It is a USA Customs Ash body covered in thin Nitrocellulose lacquer with a flamed maple neck. The pickup is a Seymour Duncan Antiquity II and the wiring scheme is what is called the "Arlo Cocked Wah" scheme where in the "neck" position it sounds like a cocked wah-wah! I may add a neck pickup along the way at some point, but who knows. I am notorious about trading and selling until I get something custom made for me. This one will be a keeper.
Check out Rob's guitars sometime. He just retired as a career professional Aerospace Quality Engineer and has been into guitar since the mid 60's. He has been doing this sort of thing a long time.
