just measured and it is 52 at bridge 50 at neck so idk i mean the stick pickups dont look off to me? idk do i really need to go trembucker instead of standard hum?

I would say that you really are as your name would suggest. But I am glad you at least changed your mind about the blue pick guard...what a horrid combination that would have been. (While I love the color of the guitar and the color of the guard by themselves, they just wouldn't look good together). At least that is a step in the right direction.

No, you don't "need" a trembucker in the bridge as BlueSkies...suggested.

What pups came with your guitar? Why are you so anxious to change them before you've even heard them? What is it about the guitar that made you want to buy it if you know that you don't like the pups?

Actually a white pearl guard would look nice on your guitar.

Yes, white pearl!

But as far as needing a trembucker- the JB is certainly strong enough to not require it. Depends on your OCD. This is the official measurement of a trembucker.

it came with run of the mill stock crap. ive listend to demos before hand and expected them to sound alot worse than they actually do having played oin them a bit now i dont think the stock pups are as bad as i expected but they certainly arent spectacular in anyway. theyre about as good as epiphone stock pups. and i bought this guitar specicfally to change the pickups becasue i liked the asthetic look of the guitar and owning it for a fewdays i can say it looks great (although the picturs dont quite do justice as to how fing sparkly it is.

Actually a white pearl guard would look nice on your guitar.

most likely goin to go with a black guard with black pups.
