Wow, dude. That thing IS hot. Its like a DC Les Paul, SG and a PRS got it on and made this hot piece of rock-on!

ROFL! Yeah those are the 3 main guitars this one reminds me of. That and maybe a fancier version of Joan Jett's Melody Maker.

By the way, does anyone know if this guitar has a solid maple top, or is it possible that it has a veneer top to make it more affordable?

It certainly has a 1/8 in veneer, perhaps all the way to 3/8 because it's prohibitively expensive to get figured maple and laminating the top on saves dough and makes the axe stronger (gluejoint). The other wood is mahogany on this rig, and those two make a lovely pairing...

Well done bringing attention to this model. It is really hard to make a new (affordable) guitar design that actually looks classy, but schecter has done it.

Old thread I know, but congrats!! Schecter is making some great axes at a good price. I had a C1 that was killer.

Dont apologize for "only" having 2 guitars.. You got what you need, you are happy with them. Having more can be fun, but it opens up other batches of problems...
