Hey guys.. I actually took "delivery" of my newest Custom Shop Carvin earlier this month... I thought I had some pics I could upload but I don't have any on this PC.. However, I did do an unboxing video which I'll link below.. =)

here's some of the specs on the guitar:

Carvin ST300 model
Floyd Rose (no locking nut)
5 piece maple neck with 2 walnut stripes
Eastern walnut body (wings)
Figured California Claro Walnut top
Ebony board
Stainless Steel Jumbo frets
Abalone inlays
Gold hardware and logo
Dunlop Straplocks

That's beautiful. I've gotten Carvin catalogs since the early 80's and drooled on them but could never afford one of their guitars. Yours is pretty much what I'd want (walnut/maple neck-thru). Pretty much everybody I know who has a Carvin loves it and had 0 trouble ordering/purchasing one.

Right on!! I also got the catalog since the mid to late 80's.. but when i FINALLY went into one of the stores in SoCal.. and played one.. I bought two in two months.. this was my third. =) I've never been happier!! I even pretty much GAVE AWAY an Ibanez Prestige because it literally wasn't getting played at all (it was my #1 axe before the first purchase).

Will check the vids when I can. Congrats! I dont currently own one, but I love Carvins. Ive a few used ones pass thru my ownership, including one GORGEOUS purple flame top over mahag SC90 with a floyd. Id LOVE to have the $ to order one of the Jason Becker trib models in either blue or black flame top..
i love the ST300 model too and the Countour C66 model.

Congrats man and happy (belated) new guitar day!!! :headbang:

Wanted a Carvin since forever, that and a Schecter are the two manufacturers that I love without owning one myself, crazy I know...

Thanks guys!! Stay tuned.. Jeff Keisel over at Carvin has been HARD AT WORK on many new designs that will become new models... and in the last couple of months a couple of new endorsees have joined the Carvin family.. One from Animals as Leaders and another from Devin Townsend's band I think...

And Francesco Filligoi is one of their new endorsers he uses a CT74 I think
