Your package was hold at customs which is beyond UPS control and it likely caused the delivery date to be delayed.

I had that happen to a head cab that I sold on ebay and it was the first time I shipped through UPS! I wasn't sure what it meant, but the guy got the head cab and there was no visible damage. They just probably dropped the box and they felt like letting you know.

I just read the details. Like cakire82 said, Customs held the package for additional screening or etc. It's a delay so UPS thought they should let you know. You should be getting it soon since they posted, "FORWARDED TO THE FACILITY IN THE DESTINATION CITY", meaning it got through customs.

I have shipped several international and this is not uncommon. My advice is just keep an eye on it. Unless it does something strange like gets sent back to the US by mistake or something ( I had a head that bounced back and forth across the US Canada border 3 times for some unknown reason a few years back but it finally arrived intact) I wouldn't worry. I would track it at the least every other day just to see where it was but you should be fine.

Customs and sales tax are something you should expect to pay when importing anything. That's the law in most countries.

If they happen to not notice or not bother that is optional.
