Let me preface this by saying, I know that it was made in Japan even though the label still says Kalamazoo. Yeah that was a thing they did, I am aware. It has a single kanji written in the neck joint, no idea what it says and drawing it in google translate it has no idea either. The guitar was manufactured by Matsumoku Industrial under the Epiphone name.









As you can see it's in desperate need of work, but that's really the only reason I ever buy more guitars. I'll be plucking the frets and putting stainless frets and a new nut on it in the future, the zero fret and the nut are toast and most of the frets are unseated or pretty close so it shouldn't be that hard to refret honestly. The guy who had it shimmed it weird and the action was all jacked up, when I'm done it should play beautifully. For now just bought it to have a project to have aside.
