NGD....well yesterday

So searching for a cheap axe for a kid that wants to learn I ask my freind what hes got kicking around.
In the list he put this up.
A Squier Sonic Esquire in ultraviolet. He bought it on blowout in Nov didnt bond with it.
$100 for a 5mo old axe I dont think I did too bad.
Actually not a bad sounding axe. Im gonna unscrew the neck OOOO steel wool it and dress the fret ends.

White scotchbrite does the same thing as steelwool without dealing with metal

I recently got a Sonic Strat too, and I really like it. The neck is fantastic after I got a nice fretjob done on it. I dropped a Suhr SSH+ in it, and it roars now too.

Congrats! Those Squiers are solid axes. I wished my first guitar was as good as those.

I think that could be a great guitar to learn on. A solid base to do some upgrading as well.

+1 - scotchbrite is my go to. Steel wool is usually cheaper, but much messier.

Oh! Yeah, reading comprehension issue.

Yes. The store did it for me. And rolled the fretboard edges. Plays like a dream.

Yea shes a little rocker.
I gotta get my strat done tomorrow. Then Ill address/ dress the frets.
Ill look into white scotchbrite....as much as I love steel wool dust all over the floor and taping up pickups lmao
