NGD! Just got a 2007 Fender Squire Telecaster on eBay ($150). Oiled the board, new set of strings and she sounds good. (I sold my 2006 MIM Telecaster last year and had serious sellers remorse).

I have a set of SD's coming. The neck will have the STR-1 Vintage and the bridge will be the STL-1 Vintage '54.

I had one of those and stuck in the fender nocaster set. I had a black guard on there for awhile but ended up liking the white one the best. I thought I had a pic but apparently I lost it?
I use the STR-1 and STL-1 '54 in my MIM and like them a lot. I think you'll be quite pleased.

Congrats ! White PG somehow looks more vintage than black (dunno why...), and since vintage seems to be what you're looking for, that's nice
