NGD!!!!

since im no longer playing drums I walked upon a good deal today. I traded my old cymbals (zildjian scimitar from the 90's) and some cheap stands for a Epiphone Firebird Studio. I must say I was very impressed with the overall of this guitar. Even if it is an epi...its Korean made and has a very nice resonance to it. Im not super fond of the pickups in this one. I had a les paul epi with the same set up and opted to change em out. Im thinking a Pearly Gates or PG Plus for the bridge. As this will be my southern rock/modern country guitar. any suggestions out there as to a well rounded neck pickup to match the pearly gates/plus? ahhh and here is some eye candy...

I was looking at those a while back and they seemed like a good deal. How do you like the Steinberger tuners?

so far I really like those tuners. Ive had dealings with different brands of locking tuners and these I was leery of at first. They looked far more complicated than they are. they hold standard and eb tuning really well. Ive heard lower tunings are a ***** with them tho. I would imagine trying to use my 10-52 set up I use for drop c would not work for this guitar. if I ever try it Ill let you guys know how it turned out.
