My second NGD of the summer! This time, it's an 07 LTD Alexi Laiho model. I bought it used from reverb. The previous owner put a Duncan blackout in, I'm excited to try it through my Randall at band practice as soon as I get it fixed up. A few cons this time, as the guitar came with only one straplock which wasn't mentioned in the ad, and the 19th fret is almost nonexistent.

This is also my first Floyd rose, and it look longer to set up than I expected but I've got it in tune and playable (for the most part) now.

Those Alexi's are my favorite and the early, reverse-sawtooth inlays are cool.

What's up with the 19th fret, btw?

I've looked at it some more and it's only under the high E. It's been worn down a lot, to the point where it doesn't even sound close to the B it should sound like. Any advice on how to fix it?

How worn is it? Is it down to the fretboard, or is there a decent bit left? The only option may be a refret, but if there's some left, you could get it crowned again

I took it to a shop and they're crowning it, as well as giving it a complete setup. I did my best, but I'm still new to setting up my own guitars, so mine wasn't that great

Don't feel bad. Setting up a Floyd is a pain. That takes time to learn.
