Hi everyone, hope life is treating you well. Well, the wife and I have been talking about a new guitar for awhile now and we were finally in a position to go ahead. Been wanting a Les Paul for awhile now and...

2017 tribute plus!!!! Not only is this my first les paul but my first American made guitar. Got it from zzounds.com did the pay as you play, being a limited run I didn't want to miss out and with no interest was kind of a no brainer.

Satin iced tea burst
AA maple top
No guard
BB 1/2 set

I haven't been this excited about anything in a long time.

Re: NGD!!!!!

Gibson finally did a lot of things right on that one (Frets and pups)...and it's even relatively cheap. Which proves you don't have to pay Gibson's exorbitant prices to get a good "Gibson" guitar.

Re: NGD!!!!!

Nice. Congrats.

Seen some sloppy Tributes but when they get em' right it's a solid deal for a USA made guitar. I have a 2013 70's Tribute.

Re: NGD!!!!!

That is beautiful, and it is nice to see the Iced Tea finish back. I think it just works on a Paul.

Re: NGD!!!!!

Thanks everyone!!! It's not without it's flaws, the fret ends are a bit sharp, but that's all I've found to be annoyed with.

That is sooo easily corrected. File off the sharp edges and sand it smooth. I do it on every guitar and neck I buy.

Re: NGD!!!!!

Nice to see you back and congrats on the great new axe!! Hope it gives you lots of inspiration!! Also, give the wife a hug.. When my wife and I talk gear, its her grumping that I need to get rid of stuff..

Re: NGD!!!!!

Love the Iced Tea finish, always a looker with that one. I'm always a little unsure of no poker chip look, but hey :)

Re: NGD!!!!!

Luckily, it came with the Burstbucker 1/2 set. I think they're the closest sounding current pickups to the old PAF's. No need to change them, unless you don't like that particular tone.

Re: NGD!!!!!

Happy new guitar day! How's the quality on it? Do you have a link to where you bought it or was this in person?
