Nice clean Middle Pickup for my Squier Strat

Hi,

I have a Squier Strat. I have been experimenting with some pickups for the bridge and neck.

I have a Pearly Gates (Neck) pickup in the Bridge position (I freakin accidentally ordered a neck pickup instead of a bridge!) It sounds pretty good, but its a little dull sounding. The clean tone is just not there.

I put a JB Jr (Neck) in the Neck position and I absolutely love that pickup with mid-high gain. I'm not loving the clean tone though.

I have the cheap stock mid pickup and I want to upgrade it to a great full bodied with a sparkle on the high end sound. Anybody have any suggestions?

I am also considering putting a JB Jr in the Bridge too...that tone is amazing.

For the middle pickup, I'd recommend checking out the Classic Stack Plus and the Vintage Rails. They both are dead quiet glassy bell-like Strat pickups, but sound slightly different. You can hear for yourself on the website's new compare function and check out some videos on YouTube.

For the bridge, I like the JB Jr too. It is an awesome pickup.
