Thanks for the link. The videos were very well made and go a long way to bust the myth of parallel mode having the lowest volume output.

The final numbers from the video using 3 different guitars with different humbuckers comes out to:

Series to Parallel volume drop 0.60dB
Series to Split volume drop 1.15dB

So in his testing the split single coil has the lowest volume output. This is what I hear too when I split my bridge Invader--parallel sounds just a little louder than a split single coil.
