I have a Custom 4, which began as a C-5, with a new A4 magnet. Nickel covered, potted, and 4 lead. I'm selling it for $55 shipped, which is a great price, only because you must leave the nickel cover on it. It looks great, but the plastic bobbins have melted spots all over them from being potted too close to a hot pan. :laugh2: For that cosmetic reason, you must leave the shiny nickel cover on it, and use it that way. The pickup has a similar sound to a Custom 5, but the bass is slightly harder, the mids are sweeter, and the highs are about the same as a 59 or C-5. In other words, it's less scooped than a C-5. $55 shipped to US only. This is ideal for a guitar like an Explorer or Les Paul, but this pickup is amazing in a semi hollow 335 type guitar, because it's the flattest EQ'd and sweetest of all the Customs.
