Nightmare's tone?

I'm pretty new at this, but thanks for looking at my thread. I was wondering how I'd be able to get this kind of tone. I've got an LP-shaped guitar with 3 single coils. I know the guitarist has one humbucker and a single coil, but I'm not sure what they are. Right now I have some crap stock pick-ups... I know that there're some 'buckers in a single size, but I have no idea where to start. I know this all sounds so newbish, but I'd appreciate some help.

Hi welcome to the forum, you might be better off trying in the "pickup lounge" as it's a pup question and it also gets a lot more views. I can't really help with which pups though sorry.
