NLD: Digitech JamMan!

Got my Digitech JamMan Looper / Phrase Sampler today.

Haven't plugged it in to anything yet, but I had to share. Expect a buttload of clips and YouTubes coming from me in the near future.

The I/O is what sold me. It's got a dedicated XLR in so I can make vocal loops while I make my guitar loops --- totally awesome. That feature alone is going to get a LOT of use on it. Singing harmonies and such, I can't wait. I could also hook my keyboard to it.

Oh, and the storage. Boss RC-20XL = 16 minutes, JamMan = 390 minutes. :sword:

All in all a badass unit. Not cheap, but I scored a duh-eal on it.

* Save up to 99 independent loops at one time

* Store up to 6.5 hours of audio

* Connect to your computer via USB and never lose another loop ever again!

* Record rhythm loops and solo over them on the fly, completely Hands-Free™

* Load up the JamMan with bass lines, drums, harmonies, and more; create an entire backup band

* Slow down or speed up any song without changing pitch to master that tricky riff

Re: NLD: Digitech JamMan!

OK, it's a really serious piece of hardware --- I can't even describe all it can do, but basically everything you'd want to do with a looper. More to come as I learn more about it. Stored a badass loop last night, the pedal stores it so I can rip each loop off to my computer as a 44.1kHz .wav

Hell yeah

Re: NLD: Digitech JamMan!

This might only apply to some JamMans: Buy Sandisk or Lexar branded CF-cards.

I had problems with a 1 gig Trancend card and a 2 gig Kingston card. Digitech's support advised to buy CF-cards made by Sandisk or Lexar. Now I have a 2 gig Sandisk card that functions as it should.

In other respects, I have been happy with my JamMan.
