Nmd: Akg 214

AKG 214 Large Diaphragm Condenser. Little brother to the 414, basically the same mic without the multiple pattern options. came with case, screen, and shockmount. Got this from a buddy that works at a chain music store, hooked me up with fat discount (over half off the $599 retail).

Ooh, I think I have mic envy

The 414 is one of my favs, but I really don't have the beans for even it's baby brother (plus I'd want two).

I swear I got a fake 214 when I got mine off ebay a few years ago. It sounded horrid and super loud no matter what I did....grr.
