Hey-

Just read the news on George's website- he and Peavey are KAPUT!

I am looking forward to the January Lynch Mob show @ Pound SF, though. I wonder what happened with Hartley and George? I guess we'll never know what kind of amp the Brahma was...

My guess is he finally plugged into a peavey amp. The man has vintage plexis, Tophats, Soldanos, VHTs, bogners, and wants a peavey?

It's probably a money thing.

Kudos to George for having refined taste.......Now, if he'd only come to grips with the fact that 80's graphic guitars aren't age appropriate for a guy pushin 50. :doh: :joke: :no:

I heard him play through a Peavey at Winter NAMM last January. His tone was pretty good.

I would have thought that after losing EVH, Peavey would try harder to retain a guy like Lynch. If I were guessing, I'd suspect that they were having trouble balancing the features GL wanted with the price that PV wanted.

Have Peavey and Eddie officially called it quits? There have been a ton of rumors about this, but to my knowledge, nothing ever came of it.

Yeah, I always questioned why George would go with a price leader company to do something as important as a signature amp. I know he wants to keep the price in reach for the kids, but what kids these days even know who the heck George Lynch is??? Since most of his fan base is made up of 30 and 40-somethings, why not go with Soldano, VHT, Mesa, etc...?

Just bought my Lynch Mob tix online- here's the lineup:

Needless to say, I cannot wait!

The fact that Lynch went from Peavey to Framus for his signature head, as well as the fact that he's currently working on an amp design with Mojave, as well, speaks voumes.

Well, Peavey DOES have Satch, so probably not too big of a loss for them.
