No sound after wiring

Wiring up some new pickups on an Ibanez RG guitar, HSH. Nothing fancy. Followed a wiring diagram that uses the same switch and I'm not getting any sound except occasional buzzing. I'm so tired of this Anyone got any clues why? Ignore the loose ground on the second pic, l undid it to get a better angle.

White is hot, black is ground. standard 22 AWG stranded pretinned wire. Using 3 Seymour Duncans, 4c for the HB and 2c for the SC

The solder situation doesn't look good. Wouldn't surprise me if a number of those connections aren't really making metal to metal contact under the solder. Do you have a meter to check basic continuity and resistance through the wiring?

Looks quite rough. Probably a short.

In the first picture, it looks like the red and white wires are soldered to the green and silver. That would immediately short out that pickup.
