Noise problem fixed...but weak sounding pickup(PIC)

I solved the problem that I had with the noise by changing the wires of the jack(I had installed them backwards). The signal is clean but the sound is preaty weak...is there anything wrong with the wiring?

I am using the george lynch Wiring diagram
the pickups are a SD TB-5 and a GFS NAL-9

Any opinions?

thanks a lot!

Re: Noise problem fixed...but weak sounding pickup(PIC)

pickups may be either too close or too far away from the strings.

is that both pickups on a push-pull pot? where's the yellow wire in the background going, is that a bridge wire?

i'd disconnect and clean everything with a chisel tip and a de-solder pump (wick is the machine gods' joke on us all), then get some thinner hook-up wire and re-do all the hot connections first, then twist the green and bare p/up wires, the bridge ground and the jack ground together, tin them, and then fuse that to the back of that pot.
i know it's not perfect but if none of your components are faulty it will both work and tidy that right up, ruling out potential shorting issues

so... much... wire

EDIT - i'm suss on the short black switch to pot wiper wire btw
