I recently got a '69 MIM Thinline Tele and I love the guitar but the pickups are very noisy. I have a MIA Standard Tele with single coils, so I think I want to go noiseless with this one.
Does anyone have first hand experience with the SD Vintage STK-1n and STK-3b stacks? I was also thinking of possibly the Dimarzio Area T's or Fender Vintage Noiseless/SCN's. Has anyone done any side by side comparisons? Any other recommendations? I know Kinmans are very good, but I'm trying to keep this one financially reasonable.
