My princetons sooooo noisey 2day i dont no why! Its a good amp thou>:sigh:

Times like these I like to run through the ole noise check . . .
Noise Check:
1. Cables
2. Power supply (is anything in your house on the same circuit? washing machines, light dimmers, computer power supplies can all add noise)
3. Are you playing close to somthing that'll cause EM interference (like a TV, Computer Monitor, Microwave. . .)?
4. Effects . . . are any batteries dying, are the patch cables hooked up properly?
5. Amp . . . do the tubes need changing, or the capacitors?
6. Is there noise only when I remove my hands from the guitar strings? (grounding issue)
7. Are the pots and switches working on the guitar?
'Course, usually my checklist is run over about 5-10 minutes before a jam session . . . so there's not much I can do to fix stuff anyways . . .
