Noisy active pickups

I have three active single coil S. Duncan pickups in my strat, and there's quite a hum whenever my hand goes near whatever pickup is selected. I rechecked the wiring and all the grounding of the pots and it seems right. I do have 250k pots instead of 100k, but that shouldnt be causing the noise. Any ideas? Also am gettting quite a pop when I go from position to position at the switch.

i have always used 25k pots with my EMG humbuckers, not sure if that is the cause of your hum though.
