Noisy Hotrail!

Just intalled a SD Hotrails to my Tele....sounds great but now got loads of hum and feedback. I'm quite new to replacing pickups so may have gone wrong somewhere.......but I'm fairly sure I got it right!

Anyone have any ideas on how I can stop the unwanted noise please???

Did you try splitting the coils?

Some things I’d double check… make sure the red and white are solidly soldered together and insulated. Make sure your grounds are solid.

For feedback, the HR is high output, try lowering the pickup away from the strings as a first attempt to quell feedback.
