totally.
1-is it just more hum or hiss when it's on? it might be your guitar. try it out with the amp and dime the gain- see if its noisier than hell.
2- are you using a battery or power supply?
3-is this an older pedal?

its a hum when i turn it on. it only happens with this pedal. i run it into an OCD and EH Big Muff. neither of those make excessive noise on their own.
i run them with a one-spot.
not too old. maybe less than 5 years.
i also run it with the gain set the lowest possible. level knob doesnt change anything since i let my amp do most of the work to reduce pedal noise. it happened within the last two weeks and i havent done anything extreme to it just regular practice to gig type thing.
