I have to order a push/pull for my epi dot, but i don't know if i have to take a "long" one or a "normal" one...

THe long one seems great :

"500k split shaft control pot with single pole-single throw push/pull switch. Great for coil splitting humbuckers. Not suitable for phase or series/parallel functions. Long bushing length for Les Paul® and other arch top applications."

THanks !

Yes, short indeed. You only need a push/pull if you're going to use that as the switch for a coil split.

i always order the DPDT push/pulls ... you can always ignore one of the 'sides' if you don't need it ...

good luck

ps - remember to tie some dental floss around each element so you can fish it back up into the hole

But they cost a bit more, I think a regular CTS pot is around $4 and a push/pull is $10. Buying 4 of them that you don't need seems kinda like a waste of $$ to me.

fair enough ... i couldnt imagine wanting the ability to split one humbucker but not the other so one could use a single DPDT to split either ... and if one is into series/parallel they need DPDT for that too

but yeah, save the $ if you dont need it
