Not my typical NGD

I am not a big acoustic guy. I have only owned two in my life, not counting my acoustic B.C. Rich. I got my Ibanez EP5 around 15 years ago to replace my beat-up cheap classical from the 80s. We are doing a ballad in the studio and I miss playing a nylon string acoustic. This is right in my sweet spot not too expensive but not cheap. Great pickup and a narrower neck that I did not know if I would gel with but instantly took to. So far I am diging it. The case is pretty nice also.

Looks nice! What wood is the fretboard? Looks a bit light. Is it Pau Ferro?

Also, is the fretboard radiused? Is that a thing with Fender classical guitars?

It is walnut. The radius is "Fender easy play" so the board is slightly curved at the edges but relatively flat like any classical. It is very comfortable and accessible to play.

I think every guitarist should have some kind of nylon string. I have a thin Yamaha cutaway nylon that is a blast to play. I play mine with pick & fingers, although I took classical lessons as a kid.

its nice having a nylon string for sure. i have a taylor that i really like, though i seldom play it.

What model is that? Slightly rounded board and a more narrow neck sounds like an interesting combo for a classical

It is a Fender CN140 the neck is very fast for a classical. Very nice tone unplugged and plugged in. I want to hear it through the JC120 next with a bit of reverb.
