Not sure what this DiMarzio is in my Strat

I bought this H/S/S/ MIM Strat the Monday after Christmas and knew it was a DiMarzio but the owner didn't know which one (he bought it from original owner). I knew the thing was much hotter than the '59's in my SG. Figured I'd check it out when I did a string change.

My curiosity got the best of me yesterday so I slackened the strings and pulled the pickguard to have a look.

All it has is a white sticker that says 100 written in blue ink. Could this be the DP100 Super Distortion?

I know it's a hot pickup that's for sure. A little too hot for my taste. In case I sell the pickup I'd like to know for sure what it is.

Ed, that is definitely some great tone in that video.

I'm still undecided on the SD in this guitar. I may go for something with less output.

I actually just today swapped a rough A4 into that 490T I have lying around to try in it. I also put a cover on it for looks. Haven't installed it yet. I was going to use the A4 for my '59n but figured I might as well try it in the 490T. The 490T is measuring 8.65 k with the A4 in it.

BTW, I just ordered some pickup screws and springs from addiction-fx. Let me know if you need a set since that pickup I sold you didn't have them.

Update: I can't use the 490T with the magnet swap and cover because its legs are too long for my Strat.

Oh well, at least while I was in there I moved the lower tone control wire to the bridge pickup.

BTW, still absolutely loving the UOA5 '59 bridge!
