NPD Brobucker

Hey guys, I've just bought Brobucker and... already got a problem. It was a used one from Reverb. Double cream coils, all good, reads 9,6kOhm, but when I've installed it along with Seth Lover neck/bridge hybryd (7,9k) with A4 it get's overpowered by neck pickup.

With A3 in the neck it balances "ok", but it's not something that I've expected from reviews on this forum. Some people where even saying that it's close in terms of output with Custom.

Do you have any ideas what might've gone wrong? Or is it a nature of the beast?

EDIT: The magnet doesn't seem to be degaussed by something, because it wins the "fridge test" with my other A5 and A4 magnets. Also I don't think that the pickup was disassembled, because the wax looked intact. The only issue with it was that the wire was butchered and put back together 7cm from the pickup, but I've managed to put that together.

Edit: Need to not post before coffee.

I've never played a Brobucker, but I'd expect the output to be closer to a WLH or 59/C Hybrid than a ceramic Custom. Is the neck pickup too high in relation to the bridge?

Not "Probucker", "Brobucker". As far as I know, it's one of the forum designed pickups only available from the Custom shop. Sorry, that's all I've got.
