Just got this in the mail for 25 bucks off ebay...

Made my board a bit more messy due to the very annoying top mounted jacks and power supply but It fit luckily. I put it before my distortion and fuzzes because I found octave up fuzz sounds best this way as I used to have a pigtronix disnortion and VS Angry Fuzz

About to put it through its paces now so I will post my thoughts on the sound right after..

Re: NPD Danelectro French Toast Octave/fuzz

First impression is wow it's pretty awesome sounding, the octave up with just a quarter way up on the fuzz level makes for a nice singing octave up fuzz. The fuzz on its own is pretty good and tons of sustain but I don't think I'd use it on it's own, it's the octave up mode which really won me over

One issue with this pedal I don't like though is the overall level/volume... even with the level cranked It was not very loud compared to my other pedals and my clean signal so I'm mostly goanna use the octave up stacked with one of my dirt boxes which sounded great...for sure a keeper

Cool pedal!

It is a clone of the old Foxx Tone Machine and in fact the man in charge of Dano pedals used to be the head cat at Foxx so he knows that circuit pretty well!

Enjoy that bad boy!

Thanks the octave up is awesome!

Just wish the overall volume of it was not so low so I could use it not stacked with another dirt pedal after it but it is what it is
