NPD: EHX Big Muff Pi Germanium 4

It packs a huge punch in one multi-use little box. I am still working with it and tweaking it around to get the full range of it, but so far it seems like a great pedal. It isn't really a wall of fuzz like the other Big Muff pedals. It is more of a vintage punchy distortion that you can throw a boost on top of.

I like germanium fuzzes, Big Muff distortion, and overdrive tho...

Well I would be lying if I said it didn't kick ass. This thing is so punchy, but it doesn't create a huge wall of fuzz (which is exactly why I wanted it). It is a really happy medium.

I just bought one of these a couple of weeks ago. I haven't played it at home yet; I'm waiting for the warranty to run out before I plug it in.

Nice jcthejester13! I saw that pedal, and was hoping that someone would post on it. So no wall of fuzz? I'm in the market for a fuzz, and was very curious about that one. I"m like you though, I want the wall of fuzz, so I can crank out some stoner metal!

Will you be doing an in-depth review of it?

I have been trying to get around to it but I have been too busy lately to sit and tweak the settings around. One of these days...
