Ok well I posted a while ago I was searching for a new pedal well I got one. This pedal is nothing like I imagined I wanted but after playing with for about 3 hours so far I have found a very nice tone that I am very excited about. Well here is the pedal Ill do a little review on it.
Specs:
* Tough cast aluminum case
* Black Epoxy Enamel finish
* True bypass switching
* Green indicator LED
* Steel LED bezel
* Switchcraft jacks
* Custom White Bakelite knobs
* Hard mounted PCB
* External power jack
* All teflon hook-up wire
* Really cute clear feet
Well the first thing I noticed about this pedal is how over the top it actually is. This is hands down the most extreme fuzz pedal I have used. But surprisingly with the fuzz being that over the top it does have smooth top end that doesn't sound harsh at all.
Second thing I have noticed is it is almost uncontrollable. In a sense this pedal is you get what you get. There is very little versatility to this pedal. It has 3 control nobs Volume, Sustain, and Tone. The tone will give you a a range from extreme low end to high end, Though when I have cranked the tone all the way up to get it at high as I can it still will maintain a smooth sounding fuzz unlike what I have noticed from the Big Muff. The sustain on this pedal is very good almost as extreme as the fuzz. There is little control of that as well. This pedal was made to have a lot sustain. The only way I have got any type of control out of this is through my guitar.
Well with all that being said this is definitely a pedal I will be taking advantage of on a few songs. I love the tone but its not very subtle and I am guess this is a love it or hate it kind of pedal. Luckily I love it.
