NPD! GFS lil killer pickups

just put some GFS lil killer pickups in my sparkly strat and it sounds great. used a kwikplug harness from fuitar fetish because i honesltly dont want to even attempt to solder the guitar the way its wired now

my only problems were that they sent humbucker long skinny screws for bridge and vintage style beveled screws for neck and middle and the pickgaurd needs modern flat screws, that and one wire broke off in installation but just replaced it with a better one and moved along all in all very happy with it

I have one of the 6k versions in the neck position of a Mexican strat. Very good sounding pickup considering the origin and price.

Yeah, I heard Lil Killers are one of the nicer sets of GFS pickups. I have not tried them myself, but I know some other people who are happy with theirs.

i will admit that of the *does math* 36 settings i get with my mini switch set up i only realistically use like 2 or 3

I put one in the center position of my HSH (the one in my avatar, but that’s an older pic) to replace a Hot Stack. I wanted something that could keep up a little better with the JB/Jazz I have in there for the bridge and neck. Very pleased.

Similarly, I bought a set of their Lil Punchers (Tele version of the Lil Killers) for the Tele build I did this past spring. Again, very pleased with them.
