NPD: Hint - it's orange

Re: NPD: Hint - it's orange

And here we go! This is a pedal I have been stalking on eBay for many years. The earliest ones are the ones you really want. But they tend to be in really crappy condition, or are stupid expensive for what they are, and often both. I happened to snag this specimen for a mere Sixty Bones due to truly excellent timing. I was going over to help a newb at a GC figure out how to use a TS9 to get some good crunch. My act of helping put this in my field of vision. It had just been tested out. I asked if it was available and they said 'Not for a couple weeks" but that I could do a layaway. I did.

And hey - Larry DiMarzio - you insecure little b!tch - ^$#$ you!

Behold; A SUPER clean original Japanese built Boss Super Distortion & Feedback in all its orange glory!

I love original products that had to go through a name change due to external pressures.

Re: NPD: Hint - it's orange

How do you adjust those? And why do they come out in the wrong orientation?

Re: NPD: Hint - it's orange

The hold thing is cool, but other than that isn't it just a ds-1?

Yes - at its core, it's a DS-1. But it's like 10 better than a plain DS1. And it says "Super Distortion" on it.

Re: NPD: Hint - it's orange

I get around the iPhone photo-flipping thing by selecting the photo and making a small edit to it. (I usually bump the brightness up a little, since my place never has enough light for a proper photograph.) Then “Save”, and the photo comes out pointed the right way. Don’t flip the orientation yourself unless the pic isn’t showing the way you want it on your phone.

Right on. Steve Dallas delivers the groceries.

Although not sure why you need this with your Mesa and your mini board, etc. How will this be used? Particular song(s) in mind?

I had one of these for years. Couldn't wait to get rid of it! But I love the feedbacker function, which actually works well.
