NPD Kirk Hammett Wah KH95

Using a 535Q for many years I found that I was constantly messing with the dang thing. Great wah, but I could not find a setting that I would settle in to for any period of time. I decided it was more effort than it was worth and sold it thinking I would get a CAE in the future.

Found a KH95 snd just fell for the color and cheap price. I am in high school again and having fun with my wah. Two hours and I can't find a major fault in sound.

Now I am considering reconfiguring my pedal board and I think it might be interesting to just use green and black pedals. Going to look for a Swollen Pickle, a MXR classic distortion and might look for a Boss Ph-3. Then I might have to paint an EHV MXR flanger.

I've heard that those KH wahs sounds pretty good, if you can get past the looks of the pedal.

I wouldn't mind trying one, but I think I'd have to put the KH wah into a standard Crybaby housing just so that I could take it seriously.

I don't mind the green enclosure but hate the graphic on the top.

I guess it'd all come down to sound for me.

$3.25 fixes that problem...

I actually bought a whole circuit from one and stuck it in a different enclosure and don't tell anyone what's inside hahaha.

You can get it cheaper if you go to GC (or any authorized Dunlop dealer) and have them order it from Dunlop.

I like the Kirk Hammet wah... its pretty good... I don't like the design but as mentioned above, it can be changed easily. ;)

I like the all green theme. I'd probably put a black tread on the top though. I like the metallic green enclosure though.

The next pedal you need is a Fulltone Choralflange. You can get a lot of cool modulation sounds out of them, from chorus to flange to rotating speaker.

I would say it is the best "vanillla" wah I have had the pleasure to play with for an extended period.

I do not care about the looks of the pedal, but I can see where some would want to tone it down. Great information if it hangs up a player.

I wan't to keep it as is. I love the color and the tread does not bother me.

I am just happy to have found something I can live with and not constantly mess with.

Great idea! I will definitely keep this in mind in the future.

Can it do a similar vibe to the MXR EHX flanger?
