Edit: Former New Pedal Day. It's going back because it's just a bit messed up.

Pig-tastic! A virtual strobe tuner with a display that's just maddening to read, the original Strobo Stomp is great for doing intonation and other fine work. It has a built-in active DI, a bunch of different tuning presets, and a D.C. power output.

Re: NPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

I had one and it was by far my favourite tuner... I preferred it to my Polytune and Turbo tuner. The reason I don't still have it is because the switch started popping and the size. I have got a VSII which I use for home and set ups. Congrats on a great tuner.

Re: NPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

I have two of them that a friend gave me when the Polytune first came out. They take up too much board space and I question the reliability of their board-mounted jacks and stomp switch. As LPB said their display is maddening for live use, but it's great for setups and intonation adjustment. I keep them around the workshop and jam room.

Re: NPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

It's lightly messed up. I'm going to have to send it back. But hey, that's the complete experience.

Re: NPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

I have one, but I use a Boss TU-3 on my board. The original Strobo-Stomp is too fragile...but it's perfect for doing setups.

Re: NPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

I use the app on my iPad; great for setting up intonation!

I just bought the app for my iPhone. (My iPad is too old.) I also bought the plug-in dongle that lets you connect a guitar directly. Seems to work really well.

Re: NPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

I use the g-strings app on my phone.

There's certainly no shortage of tuner apps available. I tend towards the ones with cool graphics. I also really like the tuning action of the Peterson.

Re: FNPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

Yeah. I think I have three tuning apps on my phone including the Peterson. I also have the Peterson Strobe HD to use at home and just added the Stomp Classic on my pedalboard. I prefer the Sweetened tunings available on the Peterson and have them everywhere, now.

Re: FNPD: Peterson Strobo Stomp

I've got one years ago. Never use it much. Bought the clip on Peterson and it's very accurate.
