NPD: Seymour Duncan Power Grid

I just scored this from a trade with forum bro MetalManiac. I don't see too many comments about this pedal.

Most "basic" distortion pedals give you Vol/Tone/Gain. One of the things I loved about the Digitech Bad Monkey was the separate Bass/Treble controls. The Power Grid takes this to the next level with B/M/T controls. I can dial this thing in to any axe I have. Very cool. I'm surprised this doesn't garner more chatter.

I'm going to shut up before MM wants it back. ;)

P.S. I should add . . . I'm not crazy about the 100k input Z, but I get around that by putting my modded (for 1M input Z) SFX-01 buffer in front of it. Pure tonality. :)

I love mine. Need to spend more time with it.

Yeah Arthur. Its a great Distortion. Way overbuilt, and I love that, I'm not concerned about the big footprint of the pedal that posibly of made some people shy away from it I suppose. Eventually I'll have another Powr Grid- knock on wood, but right now I don't use a lot of distortion right now , and have an immediate use for the Lava box we traded, cause I dig the way it fattens up a Strat middle pickup with the Simple Rumble switch.
IMO, one day these original Duncan pedals will be reissued.
