Picked up some sweet new pedals!
New Pedals.jpg

I ended up trading a guitar to Dan at This1sMyne Effects for some pedals and then I bought a new pedal for myself with some Christmas money. I traded Dan my Epiphone Alleykat plus a little bit of cash for a T1M The Pearl, Mini Solo Boost, Mini Buffer, and Fulltone OCD. Then I bought myself the new Xotic SP Compressor. I'm still putting them all through their paces, but I am absolutely loving all of the pedals! And Dan makes some top-notch pedals. If you haven't heard or seen any of his stuff, check it out at http://this1smyne.com/

Here is my pedal board now with the new additions. My drive section is probably a little bit overkill (Haha!), but I really like them all, and I plan on narrowing them down so that I can have some extra room to mount my Line 6 G50 wireless on the board. I'm still surprised that I got all of this to fit on a PT-1.

Nice board man! T1M makes great stuff. I have had the buffer and the MSB previously. I didn't really bond with the latter though, the EP Booster was much better for me.. Let us know how the comp works out..

Re: NPD x5 And Board Update!

i have the same buffer on my pedalboard...excpet these days i dont use a pedalboard (just a fuzz face) but its a great unit.

Thanks man! I haven't spent as much time with the MSB yet, but I will be using it strictly as a solo boost just to bump things up and cut through the mix. And will do man. I'm really liking it so far, and I love having the blend knob.

Oh nice. I've never really used any fuzz pedals before (besides a ehx big muff I had for a short time), but I need to give some of them a try.
sweet, youre really maximizing your real estate.
Thanks! Yeah it took me a little while to figure out where to put everything to get them all to fit. Lol

Thanks man! I'm actually really liking The Pearl right now. I have found that you have to teak this pedal just a little more than most to get the tone you are looking for, but once you find the sweet spot it is great! If you want to hear some clips of it, Lance Seymour just made a new demo video of it that should be up on Dan's website now.

The touch drive side reminds me of a punchier Timmy but with a little bit more sag and grit to it and it is very versatile. And it has a 3 stage clipping switch so you can really change the tone of it quite a bit. It also stacks amazingly well with the Timmy!

The punch side is pretty much just like its name. I don't really know how to describe it. Its got a little more mids but not like a tubescreamer and it can really cut through the mix. You can also get some really cool fuzz-y tones with the punch drives clipping switch in the middle.

Really my only complaint would be that I have found you can set each side the way you like it and set the volume just right, but when you stack them there is a very big volume jump. So when adjusting the knobs you have to decide wheather you just want to use them each seperately or just stack them. Because you will have to turn one sides volume down more than usual when stacking. Other than that I love it though. Its a great sounding drive pedal.
