Today I picked up a Electro-Harmonix LPB 2ube Stereo Tube Preamp pedal. This thing is pretty awesome. I'm using a Randall rg-100 and I wanted a but more "push" from the amp, and a bit more power and I really got it from this pedal. I got it for 120 from a local shop after I had played around with it through my set up since I brought my amp in to get serviced. It really livened up my sound and I'm so happy I got it. I know my amp is still a Solid State and just adding a pedal doesn't make it a tube amp but it sure as hell sounds good so I think it's gonna be staying in my rig.
