Cool beans beau , having no reference I was in the dark and lost. My 8 track has bitten the dust Artie , I was trying to post clips for my 335 that also got a set of Fralins and it was not working properly. I am now unable to record anything at all here but I do have a setup at the jam room that I am working on making into a recording/CD station and should be able to get something (most likely awful) recorded. Have to say it sounds different then all my other guitars but it has a tone pot issue I have to diagnose now.I guess I will have to get one of those little handheld recording devices to make demos or something like that soon. Next up time to route the top to recess the trem ! BTW the P-92s are 2 single coils in a humbucker sized cover , not quite a P 90 or a humbucker but they are hum canceling. Kind of bright and punchy , takes distortion plus OD very well.

I mean as an official Custom Shop offering, like Little Pearly Gates or the Psychedelic set. It's like a vote or confidence, or an endorsement for that particular design, instead of a one-off experiment. There's a good chance I'll ask for a full sized version as a Duckbucker, though. Every time the thought crosses my mind, it becomes more appealing.
I mean as an official Custom Shop offering, like Little Pearly Gates or the Psychedelic set. It's like a vote or confidence, or an endorsement for that particular design, instead of a one-off experiment. There's a good chance I'll ask for a full sized version as a Duckbucker, though. Every time the thought crosses my mind, it becomes more appealing.

Got a few 30 or 40 min with them last night but had issues getting past my neck tone not working was very distracting. They have a lot of range just by the bridge pup and comparing to the neck , I put 500k pots and .022 caps in there not sure if that is how most people would do it. More range in the treble cut seems like a good option to me , think I might put the Fralin volume kit in it http://www.fralinpickups.com/images/phazrev.jpg maybe even the greasebucket mod that is in my Tele. I tried piling distortion on them and they were very articulate with a good amount of "texture" (gads , I used quotes!) meaning they did not become muddy and had a ton of harmonics when I hit the Kalamazoo OD. I will be out in the garage all day until I track down the issue and repair it , probably a grounding issue with the gibson style braided wire or my poor soldering. When ordering a toggle switch make sure it says it is a short one , don't go by the pic ! Might have to go with 250k pots and .047 caps pretty dern bright with tone all the way up. Of course it was user error I had grounding issues with the conductive paint doh !
