NPJD - New paint job day

[Taz Rules]

While waiting for my backordered pickups to come in on my strat kit build, I decided to throw some paint at my BC Rich VG1.

All paint is House of Kolors, candy red over gold, and USC-01 show clear. I decided to hand paint the web instead of airbrush it because I wanted a "rougher" less refined look on this particular guitar. Just to see how the effect would look. I've had other clients ask for that, and before I agreed to do it, I wanted to see the result on one of my own units.

Thanks for the kudos, guys! Its always nice to be validated.

Long story short -- I'm not employable for medical reasons. To keep myself from going crazy (and so I can eat occasionally) I do custom paint for people. Here's a couple of my other pieces I've done...
(also you can see the wood burning I did on my strat on the Build Thread)

I'd love your thoughts...

I think that the BC Rich would look better if there was a white border around the web. Or if the web continued on the edges.

Nevertheless, it still looks beautiful.

After stripping the paint off my latest project for the 2nd time, I can admit to myself, that I just suck at painting. Guys like you make it look easy!

Very nicely done!! Being an 80s hair metal guy, I always wanted a custom painted Kramer or BC rich. If I could decide on a specific theme and a guitar to paint, I may request a quote.

With the exception of my strat build, all my guitars are always for sale. Best excuse to get a new one is to have an empty stand, lol.

If you like the Rich, feel free to make an offer. Otherwise, pm me and we can talk guitars. Even if you don't want something done right away, I'm always up for axe talk.

I'm away from home til the weekend, but should be back sat or sun.
