NSD WGS ET-90

Swapping some stuff around with my rigs after I sold the Jet City and wanted something fatter bigger and more open sounding in the little 25 watt Zinky combo so I ordered a WGS ET-90 on Friday and it was delivered today.
I looked hard at several speakers from different companies but in the end really liked what i was hearing with the ET-65 from WGS in an open back combo cab. When I called them they recommended going up to the new ET-90 for this setting. The 90 is even fatter in the bottom and much more efficient than the ET-65 so on paper it looked like a really good fit in the Zinky.
First surprise was how much WEIGHT it took out of the combo going to the WGS from the big Zinky labeled Eminence that came stock. Second was how much bigger overall the amp sounds now.
So far it's a little cold and harsher on the top than I would like but if this one responds like the other WGS's I have owned it should mellow out and soften up a lot once it breaks in and loosens up some.
The amp overall now sounds MUCH fuller and less boxie + this speaker is more efficient than the factory Zinky speaker so I have more clean headroom with the WGS.
Dropping the combo on top of the Blackstar with the 70/Eighty and running both speakers however is where everything changes. Together with the Blackstar cab the difference from the tone with the stock speaker was shocking and the combo of the 2 sounds absolutely HUGE.
Overall I'm pleased but want to see how it performs in a full band setting.
