NWD [wood content]

Curly/tiger/flame maple board I snagged at a big antique show this weekend.
Not very often can you find something this large, and at 14" wide, it's wide enough for a one piece top.

10' x 14" x 3/4"

The lighting was pretty crappy, as is my iphone camera, so the pics don't really do the grain justice.

Can't wait to use some on an upcoming build. :smokin:

ooh that's got some nice grains on it.

I went over to an old dude's house (wife was practicing an anglican carol and I should have been too) and he's a woodworker. Introduced me to a 4"x22"x8' slab of walnut I about passed out from.

There's a guy near me that may or may not be still alive that has a woodshop called Earthworks , he sells wood and it is nice stuff. Very cool older gentleman he measures by hand with a tape and hacks it up with a handsaw. The shed is out in front of his house you pull up to it and ring the bell and he drives out in a golf cart eventually.
