NYC amp repairs?

Does anyone know a good amp repair show in NYC that will work on solid state amps?

I haven't been able to find one. I have a bass amp (SVT 3PRO) that needs a new input jack.

You could try the Guitar center on 14th,Or Matt Umanov's on Bleeker st.? The only good amp techs I know of are out here on the Island.

Go to 30th St Guitars and ask for Eric. He is THE amp tech in NYC!!! He's modded, repaired, restored, or rebuilt amps for EVERYONE.

A new input jack shouldn't be that hard for any tech to do- I've done it on my own amps.

I have my amps serviced my The Music Zoo on Long Island. My marshall stopped working one day. I gave it to them, they re tubed it, I don't know what else but it came back sounding like it was on steroids

Jess Oliver worked for Ampeg back in the 60's, And was instrumental in getting the SVT developed. He's a old man now, But he still runs a repair shop out of his house in Massapequa (About 45 minutes from NYC via LIRR) it maybe worth giving him a call? Maybe he can point you to someone in the city.
