Nylon String Guitars - Is this possible?

I'm a lefty and I'm hell-bent on finding a left handed classical guitar. I'm having a lot of trouble finding one though. I'm actually having trouble finding any nylon-string guitars around where I live, period. There's only one classical guitar at my local Daddy's Junky Music that I am aware of - it's right handed, of course. What I was wondering was this: would it be possible to re-string a nylon-string guitar upside down without altering the rest of the guitar? The nylon strings are larger than the steel strings, but would this be a feasible option? Or would I have to buy another nut and change it?

Thanks ,
Chris
